Lagos, Nigeria – Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, a controversial cross-dresser and social media influencer, has issued a stern warning to Nigerians against spraying naira notes at parties. The former convict, who was recently released from prison after serving a six-month sentence, made the plea in an interview with Goldmyne TV.
Bobrisky’s warning comes after he was arrested and detained by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Lagos for abusing the naira notes. He was subsequently sentenced to six months without an option of fine. The incident occurred in April this year, and the Crossdresser has since regained his freedom.
In a viral video, the overjoyed cross-dresser was seen leaving the prison facility in a convoy of G-wagons, accompanied by friends and actress Eniola Ajao. Upon his release, Bobrisky expressed his gratitude to his fans and vowed to return to his old lifestyle.

However, in a dramatic change of tone, the Crossdresser urged Nigerians to desist from spraying naira notes, citing his own experience as a cautionary tale. “Don’t spray money, unless you’ll be a landlord inside Kirikiri,” he said. “It’s not just about killing or any criminal activity, something light like this can take you there.”
The cross-dresser’s words of caution come as a stark reminder of the consequences of flouting the law. Bobrisky’s arrest and subsequent sentence serve as a stark warning to others who may be tempted to engage in similar activities.
As Bobrisky returns to his old life, it remains to be seen whether his message will resonate with Nigerians and curb the practice of spraying naira notes at parties.
