  • President’s Entrance Scholarships: $50,000 to $70,000.
  • James Jenkins President’s Entrance Scholarship: $50,000 for Black students.
  • Beryl Ivey Continuing Entrance Scholarship: $92,000 over four years.
  • Neen Hodgins President’s International Entrance Scholarship: Up to $80,000 for international students.
  • Additional awards include the Faculty Entrance Scholarships ($30,000) and National Merit Awards ($2,000 for interviewees not selected).

Application Requirements
Students must submit the following materials:

  1. A completed online application.
  2. A high school transcript.
  3. A reference letter from a teacher or school staff member.
  4. A 1,000-1,250 word essay addressing a public concern.

Nomination Process
Students must secure a nomination from their high school to qualify. The application includes a “Nomination Request Form” to be completed by a school administrator. Students are advised to follow up with their schools to ensure all required documents are submitted on time.

How to Apply
Applications are available via Western University’s online portal [HERE]. Students will need their OUAC reference number and date of birth to access the system. Note that there may be a delay of up to five business days between admission application submission and scholarship portal access.
