Blord Released on Bail After Three Days in Police Custody

UPDATE: Police Clarify Charges Against Blord Group of Companies' CEO

Nigerian Police Grant Bail to Bitcoin Tycoon Linus Ifejika Williams, aka Blord

Linus Ifejika Williams, popularly known as Blord, has been released on bail after spending three days in police custody

Blord, a cryptocurrency entrepreneur and social media influencer, was arrested on allegations of cryptocurrency fraud, internet fraud, computer-related fraud, terrorism funding, and non-compliance with regulatory frameworks.

According to a viral post by controversial social media activist, VeryDarkMan, he was released after “much begging and crying” and is expected to return next week to address the allegations.

The Blord Group had earlier denied claims of his arrest, stating that he was merely invited for questioning. Born on March 14, 1998, in Anambra State, he claims to be a Bitcoin trader, coach, and crypto entrepreneur with his own blockchain business.

The police are yet to comment on the release, but VeryDarkMan has called for justice to prevail in the case. His release on bail is seen as a temporary reprieve, as he is expected to face further questioning and possible charges next week.
