Nigerian activist, Harrison Gwamnishu has posted a video on Instagram to confirm the death of Andrew Amechi Ocheckwo, the alleged mastermind of the disappearance of two ladies who had gone to visit him in April, 2024 at his residence in Aba, Abia state.
In the video, a lifeless body suspected to be that of Ocheckwo was seen placed on a bed in a mortuary in Otukpo, Benue state. Gwamnishu also showed videos of Andrew’s lifeless body in the back of his car with visible bullet wounds. The windshield of the car, a Mercedes Benz saloon, also had multiple bullet holes.
Ocheckwo, a British national of Nigerian descent was allegedly killed by vigilante men following an attempt to escape from the police in Benue state, on their way to Abuja for further investigations.
Ocheckwo was alleged to have masterminded the disappearance of two ladies, Celine Ndudim and Afiba Tandoh, who had visited him in April in his house. The ladies remain missing till date.
A decomposing corpse, suspected to be one of the victims, was found near Ocheckwo’s home in Aba. Forensic examination is yet to be conducted to ascertain the identity of the decomposed body.
The girls had visited him for a weekend stayover that was billed to earn the ladies N1,000,000 on a transactional sexual deal.
Ocheckwo is also wanted in the United Kingdom over allegations of sexual offences.
