EEDC Promises Reliable Power Supply for Christmas Season in South-East
The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has announced that it has implemented robust strategies to ensure a consistent power supply during the upcoming Christmas holiday and for the foreseeable future in the South-East region.
Mr. Emeka Ezeh, the Head of Corporate Communications at EEDC, conveyed this commitment in a statement released to the media in Enugu on Tuesday. He urged consumers to exercise caution by avoiding hazardous activities, such as the use of fireworks and uncontrolled bush burning, which could lead to electrical incidents or fires.
Ezeh highlighted that the company has prepared to promptly address any service disruptions during this festive season. “We are dedicated to the safety and satisfaction of our customers, and it is particularly critical to prioritize caution during this dry season,” he stated.
In the event of power outages or other issues, the company encourages customers to reach out to their 24/7 Call Centre by dialing 02084700100 for assistance.
EEDC reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing its services and customer experience in the upcoming year. The spokesman expressed gratitude to the company’s customers, acknowledging their key role in the organization’s achievements over the past year. “We could not have made it this far without the invaluable support and understanding of our customers, and we genuinely appreciate it,” he concluded.
