FIRS official Shot dead in abuja by unknown gunmen

A tragic incident unfolded in Maitama, Abuja, on Friday night as unidentified gunmen fatally shot Khalid Bichi, a middle-aged man employed by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

According to reports from The Punch, Bichi fell victim to the attackers just before 9 pm while he was out to purchase food.

The assailants targeted Bichi, firing multiple shots that ultimately claimed his life. He was promptly rushed to Maitama General Hospital, where medical personnel pronounced him dead.

Sources familiar with Bichi revealed his active presence on social media, where he used the username @Khalid Bichi and had associations with influential figures in politics.

A funeral prayer is scheduled to take place at Abuja National today at 1:30 pm, after which the deceased will be laid to rest.
