The unfortunate news was confirmed by Aminu Gumel, the APC chairman of the State, who expressed deep sorrow over Labbo’s passing.

Jigawa, Nigeria – Yahuza Umar Labbo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kirikasamma Local Government election in Jigawa State, has passed away just days before the scheduled polls.

Labbo, who was 55 years old, reportedly died after a brief illness.

The unfortunate news was confirmed by Aminu Gumel, the tate chairman, who expressed deep sorrow over Labbo’s passing.

The State Governor Umar Namadi also extended his condolences, offering prayers for Labbo’s soul and comfort for his grieving family.

Labbo leaves behind three wives and fifteen children, who now mourn his untimely departure during what was to be a pivotal moment in his political career.
