Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has declared that only divine intervention can resolve the ongoing political feud between Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
In a post on his X handle on Tuesday, Sani expressed his belief that the situation in Rivers State requires a higher power for resolution. “Rivers State has been left in the hands of God to solve the problem,” he stated.
The state has been embroiled in a political crisis since Governor Fubara assumed office, with tensions escalating as Fubara and Wike vie for political control. The conflict has resulted in the emergence of two parallel speakers, Martin Amaewhule and Victor Oko-Jumbo, further complicating the situation.
Despite an earlier intervention by President Bola Tinubu, the crisis remains unresolved as supporters of both parties continue to clash.
