Renowned Beninese singer-songwriter Angelique Kidjo has announced the release of her latest single, “Joy,” featuring Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Davido. The much-anticipated track is set to drop on Friday, August 30, 2024.
Kidjo, a five-time Grammy Award winner, took to social media to share her excitement about the collaboration. She expressed that “Joy” perfectly encapsulates her essence and praised David for his contribution.
Davido also expressed his honor in working with Kidjo, calling the project a momentous collaboration. This isn’t the first time the duo has worked together, they previously collaborated on the track “Na Money” from his album Timeless
