The bad blood between Top Nigerian superstar singers Burna Boy and Davido has finally degenerated to fisticuffs.
Recall that the singers have been embroiled in a beef after Burna Boy claimed that Davido’s success was because of his father’s wealth.
Apparently, the beef has now reached an unhealthy level; the singers who are currently in Accra – Ghana for a show got to blows and shoves at Twist night club in Accra.

It was not clear what led to the fight at the club but the nine second video shows Davido and Burna Boy allegedly angrily leaving a club in what appeared to be the aftermath of a brawl between the two artistes.
Neither Burna Boy nor Davido responded to messages by REPORT AFRIQUE’s staff in Accra on the issue.
The History of Burna Boy and Davido’s Fight
The beef between Burna Boy and Davido started in 2019, around the time when Burna Boy was announced to be up for a Grammy award Grammy award for Best World Music Album for ‘African Giant’.
However, the bad energy between the tow artistes was not so evident until Burna Boy returned to Social Media after he lost out to Beninese singer Angelique Kidjo, and he became quiet social media for a while. Burna was provoked by a Tweet made by Davido about himself and Wizkid being the best in of all time.
Second Phase of Burna Boy and Davido’s Beef
In response to Davido’s tweet, Burna Boy questioned Davido’s success by claiming that he owes his achievements to his billionaire father. The message still did not mention Davido by name: “you cannot play football, everybody knows you cannot play football and you are an embarrassment to the team. But your daddy bought the football team”.
Responding to Burna , Davido In his track ‘FEM’ which is Yoruba slang for ‘shut up’, Davido slamed back at Burna Boy in parts of his lyrics, “Then Odogwu say we like to party just call me…” – ‘Odogwu’ and ‘Like to Party’ are both names of a Burna Boy song.
