Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu Responds to Accusations of Financial Misconduct Involving Mercy Chinwo

Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, the former manager of gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and head of EeZee Conceptz Global, has refuted allegations that he misappropriated $345,000 intended for the artist. During a detailed post on Instagram, Onyedikachukwu asserted that Chinwo has, in fact, received a total of $625,000 from the label since their partnership began.

Onyedikachukwu claimed that Chinwo is trying to assert ownership over a music catalog that he financed entirely, stating, “You’re now attempting to claim ownership of a catalog I fully funded. A body of work you never contributed financially to.” He emphasized his contributions to her career, including financial assistance and housing support, which he provided prior to her rise to fame.

The former manager also accused Chinwo of violating their contractual agreement by failing to deliver a third studio album and withholding funds from the label. He reflected on his own challenges, mentioning his nine-day detainment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), during which he alleged he was extorted of $274,000. Onyedikachukwu asserted that Chinwo has exploited both law enforcement and religious organizations to sway the situation in her favor.

In a striking appeal, he urged Chinwo to disclose her bank statements and any music recorded before and after her engagement with EeZee Conceptz. He questioned, “If your hands are clean, why avoid the Multidoor resolution process in our agreement? Why manipulate institutions to bully me?”

This ongoing dispute has escalated into legal action, with a Federal High Court in Lagos issuing a warrant for Onyedikachukwu’s arrest following a motion filed by the EFCC. As the situation develops, Onyedikachukwu expressed his desire for justice, stating, “I’ll continue to act lawfully, trusting the legal system and God to defend my peace and reputation.”

As of now, Mercy Chinwo has not publicly addressed the allegations raised by her former manager.
