Nollywood star Yul Edochie has sparked fresh conversations with a heartfelt plea to his second wife, Judy Austin, for a baby girl.
Taking to Facebook, Yul Edochie, who shares two sons with Judy Austin, openly expressed his longing for a daughter in a social media post. Highlighting the joy a baby girl would bring, he affectionately addressed Judy, writing:
“Ijele Odogwu, give me one more baby that will be as cute as this one, Pete Jnr. A baby girl. Biko. Our baby girl will be too cute. Tell me what you want and I’ll do it for you. My Love.”
This isn’t the first time Yul has voiced his wish for a baby girl.
Edochie Family Drama
Yul’s appeal comes amid heightened tensions within the Edochie family. Veteran actress Rita Edochie recently accused Judy Austin of taking control of Yul’s social media accounts. Rita alleged that Judy has been using Yul’s platforms to launch attacks on his brother Linc Edochie and fellow Nollywood icon Kanayo O. Kanayo, tarnishing the once-respected image of Yul’s online presence.
In her statement, Rita expressed disappointment over what she described as a toxic influence, stating, “She has turned his platforms into tools for personal vendettas.” She also criticized ongoing rumors accusing Leo Edochie, the eldest son of legendary actor Pete Edochie, of attempting to undermine Yul’s first wife, May Edochie.
