Popular activist and philanthropist Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has revealed that his NGO’s website was hacked, resulting in the theft of a staggering 180 million naira.

In a now-viral video, VeryDarkMan expressed his distress over the incident, disclosing that while 20 million naira has been recovered, 160 million is still unaccounted for.

“For the past few days, I haven’t been myself, and it hasn’t been easy,” he said. “The truth is, somebody hacked into the NGO website, and 180 million naira is missing. We have tracked the person, and they’ve arrested one.”

Otse also shared that he is traveling to Jos as part of efforts to recover the stolen funds, adding,

“Hopefully, I will be able to recover everything.”

The incident has sparked widespread reactions, with many expressing shock and offering support to the activist as investigations continue.
