174 Deeper Life high School Students Score 300 and above

Social media buzzed with admiration on Friday as Deeper Life High School revealed that an impressive total of 174 students from its campuses nationwide achieved scores of 300 and above in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Taking to its official Facebook handle @Deeper Life High School, the school proudly showcased the achievements of these exceptional students, defying the odds highlighted by JAMB’s announcement that only approximately 0.5% of candidates nationwide attained scores of 300 and above in the 2024 UTME.

The school’s post lauded the remarkable performance of its students, with the highest scorer, Ayeyemi Godsgift Ibukunoluwa, achieving an outstanding total of 362 points out of the possible 400.

This impressive feat follows the school’s previous success in producing the highest scorer in the 2023 UTME, where Umeh Kamsiyochukwu emerged with a total of 360 points.

JAMB’s recent disclosure revealed that out of 1,842,464 candidates, 1,402,490 failed to achieve a score of 200 out of 400 marks. The examination body reiterated its stance that the UTME serves primarily as a ranking examination and opted not to disclose the names of the highest-scoring candidates.

Despite this, Nigerians on Facebook expressed admiration for the top-performing students, recognizing the qualities of godliness, discipline, and commitment required to achieve such remarkable results.

Among the congratulatory messages, one Facebook user, Thomas Ewa, emphasized the significance of these qualities in academic success, while Olumu Peace celebrated Ayeyemi, the top scorer, specifically mentioning Delta Campus’s pride in the achievement.

Ajayi Oluwafemi James echoed the sentiments, describing the school’s accomplishment as “incredible” and commending the Deeper Life High School family for its leadership with distinction.
