Police Arrest Father For Posting Bizarre Video of his 4-Year-Old Child On Social Media 

The Nigeria Police Force has arrested a man who posted bizarre video and photos of his 4-year-old daughter on Instagram.

The Police is against any forms of sexual exploitation and stands in solidarity with the victim.

The Nigeria Police Force’s Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Sunday, April 12th via the force’s X page said: “The Nigeria Police Force(NPF) acknowledges the public outcry in response to disturbing images and videos involving a 4-year-old child (victim) with the Instagram handle @officialsarah_ig, circulating on social media. The content portrays the young girl in inappropriate poses, akin to adult content.

“The Police force expresses profound shock and grave concern over the apparent exploitation of this vulnerable child and unequivocally condemns such (negative) actions in the strongest terms possible.

“Initial investigations shows the involvement of the child’s father, who has been arrested by the Police at the Auchi Divisional Police Headquarters, Edo State Police Command. Every necessary means is being implemented to ensure that justice is quickly served. As the investigation uncovers, it is imperative to establish proactive measures to guide and counsel parents, preventing the proliferation of such abnormal behaviours in our society.

“In light of the above, the Police force emphasises the importance of implementing support systems for parents and guardians to protect the safety and well-being of their children. It is crucial that caregivers to also prioritize the security of minors and seek assistance or guidance when necessary. The Nigeria Police Force remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding minors and upholding the law.”
