Nigerian Rapper, Biglo, Dies of Coronavirus

Popular Nigerian artiste, Lotanna Udezue, popularly known as Biglo, has died from complications relating to Coronavirus.

The rapper had announced on his official Facebook page that he had tested positive for coronavirus and asked his fans to pray for him.

According to close friends, he died on Christmas day in USA.

In 2018, the rapper posted on his social media page that he had been diagnosed with a kidney disease. He was said to be undergoing dialysis at a nursing home in California, US.

The news of his death filtered into social media by mid-afternoon on Sunday after his contemporaries, Jazzman Olofin and Ruggedman, paid tributes to one of their own on Instagram.

Biglo was popular especially in the early 2000s with hits such as Delicious featuring fellow musician, 2shotz.

Tributes have been pouring in from friends and colleagues.
