The case of the two missing girls in Aba, Celine Ndudim And Afiba Tandoh, that had visited a UK-Nigerian citizen, Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo, before their disappearance has taken a different turn with new revelations that have emerged online.
New revelations alleged that the kidnap suspect, Ochekwo paid the Nigeria police a bribe of three million naira to allow him access to his phone and drive himself, despite that he was a suspect in a case of kidnapping and alleged organ harvesting of two missing victims.
These revelations were made in a live video by a Facebook user with the username @justadetoun. The video call also had a friend of the deceased suspect, who was simply identified as Ben, and activist Harrison Gwamnishu.
In the video, Ben narrated how Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo told him he was extorted by the Nigeria police, allowed access to his phones and allowed to drive his car while in custody.
“He drove himself to Abuja and was calling me through out the journey.” Ben narrated in the video.
Activist Gwamnishu also narrated how Ochekwo escaped from the police in Benue state before he was allegedly shot and killed by local vigilante group.
According to Gwamnishu, the police allowed Ochekwo drive himself in his Mercedes SUV before he absconded in the car at Benue. He was chased around the state before vigilante men ambushed him and shot him dead.
Gwamnishu also alleged the a gun acquired by Ochekwo was found in his car after he was killed and that the vigilante men tried to take possession of Ochekwo’s gun.
” Dem drag him gun and the gun explode injure one of the vigilante men, but police say dem don retrieve the gun and arrest all the people involved.” Gwamnishu narrated in Nigerian pidgin during the live video.

Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo Wanted in the UK for Sexual Crimes
During the live video, the deceased suspect’s friend, Ben mentioned that the suspect was a wanted person in the United Kingdom.
Ben said Ochekwo is wanted for crimes bothering on sexual abuses. He said the Nigeria police told him they were aware his late friend was a wanted person in Britain.
“They knew he was wanted in the UK. Why would police in Nigeria allow such a person access to his phones and cars while in their custody?” Ben queried during the live video.
How Missing Girls, Celine Ndudim And Afiba Tandoh Met Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo on Facebook
Celine Ndudim, a girl living in Port Harcourt, Nigeria had met a wealthy UK-Nigerian man on Facebook, Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo and the two began taking about meeting up.
The conversations continued for about 5 years before Celine’s friend, Afiba Tandoh, a Ghanaian national living in Nigeria, was introduced into the friendship.
Ochekwo would invite them to meet with him in Aba, Abia state, Nigeria in April, 2024. A video extracted from Celine’s phone shows Ochekwo asking Celine to come along with her friend ( referring to Afiba) so they could chill and have fun in beautiful mansion in Aba.
Ā The two girls later travelled from Port Harcourt, Rivers State to Aba, Abia State on April 27, 2024 to see Andrew Ochekwo. They have of been heard from nor seen after that.
Celine and Afiba Declared Missing
After days of not hearing from the girls, a debit alert of one million naira found on Celine’s Ipad which she left at home would arouse suspicions from her family members.
Unable to reach her phones, the family sought help. The matter was reported to a popular activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who eventually broke the news of the disappearance of the girls on the internet.
Andrew Told Me He Did’nt Kidnap The Girls, Sent Me a Video of Them in His House – Ben, Suspect’s Friend
The friend of the deceased suspect, Ochekwo claimed that he had told him he did not kidnap the missing girls.
During the live video broadcast, Ben said Andrew Ochekwo had forwarded him a video of the two girls while they were still in his house.
The video was later played from the phone of a Facebook user, Adetoun, host of the live video broadcast. In the video, which was played from Adetoun’s phone, the two girls could me seen on a bed in a room alleged to be one of the rooms in Ochekwo’s mansion in Aba. In the video, both girls seemed motionless and were naked on the bed.
It was not clear from the video if they were alive or not. Ben claims Ochekwo had sent him that video to prove he did not kidnap the girls when he inquired from him the whereabouts of the missing girls. Ben further said that Ochekwo had told him that the police informed him the girls’ phones were tracked to Owerri, Imo state, a neighboring state to Abia.
The two girls remain missing as the public question the circumstances leading to Andrew Ochekwo’s death in the custody of the Nigeria police.
