The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a warning to Nigerians against the activities of Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministries, a faith-based organization led by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, which claims to produce miracle products.

According to NAFDAC, the organization is using its name and logo to deceive the public into believing that its products, including Miracle Water and Miracle Soap, are registered with the agency. However, investigation by NAFDAC has revealed that none of these products are registered with the agency.

In a statement, NAFDAC’s Director General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, emphasized that the agency has been inundated with petitions from concerned citizens about the activities of Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministries. The organization has been advertising and selling these products with claims of miraculous healing powers, including the ability to cure barrenness and infertility.

NAFDAC’s investigation found that when officials from the agency visited the ministry to verify the claims, they were met with denial and refusal to cooperate. The organization’s officials claimed that they only had a spiritual pool of water and not the miracle products being advertised.

The agency also discovered that the organization had entered into a production contract agreement with Globod Table Water factory without the knowledge of NAFDAC State Office in Delta State. This is illegal according to extant rules and regulations on commercial production.

As a result, NAFDAC has sealed the Globod Table Water factory to prevent further production and sale of unregistered and unwholesome miracle products. The agency has also warned faith organizations against illegal production of regulated products without requisite regulatory requirements.

The public is advised to stop patronizing any of these miracle products, as they are not registered with NAFDAC and may pose health risks. NAFDAC is committed to safeguarding the health and wellbeing of Nigerians by ensuring that all products on the market meet strict safety and quality standards.

In conclusion, NAFDAC urges Nigerians to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities or products to the agency. The agency will continue to investigate and take necessary actions against any organization found to be engaging in illegal activities.
