NYSC member slumps And dies in Kebbi Orientation Camp

Tragic Incident at NYSC Orientation Camp in Kebbi State Claims Life of Corps Member

A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Tayachibiyacha Ebal, tragically passed away while serving at the Dakin Gari Orientation Camp in Kebbi State. Reports indicate that she suddenly collapsed and was swiftly transported to the camp clinic for immediate medical attention.

Following her initial treatment, she was subsequently transferred to the Federal Medical Centre in Birnin-Kebbi for more advanced care. Unfortunately, despite the doctors’ best efforts to revive her, she succumbed to her condition.

Alhaji Muhammad Fingila, the state Commissioner for Youth and Sports, confirmed the unfortunate incident to reporters in Birnin Kebbi. He mentioned that her remains have been sent back to her home state of Adamawa. Fingila expressed his condolences to the bereaved family on behalf of the Kebbi State government.

Attempts to reach officials from the NYSC’s Kebbi State office for further comment were unsuccessful. Mrs. Hadiza, the spokesperson, did not respond to phone calls or text messages seeking a statement regarding the incident.
