Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has announced the immediate dissolution of the Local Government Service Commission, a strategic move aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency within the public sector. The announcement was made in a statement on Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua.

Governor Okpebholo emphasized that this decision is part of a larger initiative to streamline government operations and bolster the performance of public institutions across the state. He assured the public that the dissolution would not hinder ongoing governmental activities.

In his remarks, Okpebholo expressed his dedication to working closely with stakeholders to revamp the commission for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
