Officials at the Oke-Kura custodial center in Ilorin confirmed that Portable was released at approximately 3:30 PM, following a modification of the conditions of his bail by the authorities. Notably, prior to his release, Portable had a clean shave of his distinctive multi-colored hair, a change in appearance observed by those present.

At the time of his release, Portable was accompanied by two of his wives. Sources revealed that he had his first meal on Tuesday morning following his arrest the previous Saturday in Abeokuta, Ogun State. He had been taken to Ilorin by officers from the Kwara State Police Command, facing charges of criminal intimidation, defamation, and threats to life against Saheed Osupa.

The case’s withdrawal has led to a swift resolution for Portable, allowing him to return home after a brief period of incarceration.
