President Tinubu appoints 8 new Permanent Secretaries
ABUJA — President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of eight new permanent secretaries within the federal civil service to address current and forthcoming vacancies across various states and geopolitical regions.

This marks the second round of appointments, following the selection of eight permanent secretaries last June from states including Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, as well as from the South East and South-South regions.

The appointments were recommended by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, which ensured a thorough selection process for the candidates.

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, released a statement listing the newly appointed permanent secretaries and their respective states. The appointees are: Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu (Abia State), Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip (Bayelsa State), Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia (Ebonyi State), Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam (Enugu State), Kalba Danjuma Usman (Gombe State), Usman Salihu Aminu (Kebbi State), Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso (Rivers State), and Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State).

President Tinubu has urged the newly appointed permanent secretaries to exhibit heightened dedication, diligence, and innovation in their roles to better serve the nation.
