Rumours of the death of veteran Nollywood actor, Olu Jacobs is trending at number one spot on the Nigerian Twitter (now called X), yet there are no confirmations from any reliable quarters on the matter.
Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Sylva and wife of Olu Jacobs’ had confirmed, in 2023, during an interview with Nigerian media personality, Chude Jideonwo, that the actor suffered from dementia, citing that the illness had drastically changed the veteran actor from who he used to be. Mrs Jacobs, however, dispelled the rumours of her husband’s death as unfounded rumours.
The online news platform, Politicsnigeria.com reported today that the veteran allegedly died on Sunday, June 30, 2024. REPORT AFRIQUE could not confirm this as sources from Nollywood said they were unsure about the veracity of the news.
