After Polls Show Kamala Harris Outperformed Donald Trump in Latest Debate; Trump Announces No Third Debate Will Be Held

Former President Donald Trump has ruled out participating in a second debate with Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the November 5 election. Despite claiming victory in their recent showdown, multiple polls suggest Harris outperformed him.

Trump took to Truth Social, declaring,

“THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!”

after facing Harris earlier this week and President Joe Biden in June. He asserted that surveys supported his performance, though polling data tells a different story.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 53% of respondents believed Harris won the debate, with only 24% siding with Trump. Additionally, a YouGov flash poll showed 54% of viewers favoring Harris compared to 31% for Trump.

While Trump insists one debate was enough, public opinion appears divided, with 54% of registered voters agreeing, while 46% wanted another debate. The event, which drew over 67 million viewers, highlighted key contrasts between the two candidates.

Despite his withdrawal from further debates, Trump remains confident in his campaign. However, the numbers reflect a more complex narrative as the race for the White House continues.
