Borno, Nigeria – Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, has donated a whopping N500 million to victims of the devastating flood that ravaged Maiduguri, displacing millions of residents. The donation, which was made in partnership with his brother, friends, and associates, is aimed at alleviating the sufferings of the affected individuals.

Speaking during a visit to Maiduguri, Seyi Tinubu expressed his solidarity with the people of Borno state, who have been known for their resilience in the face of adversity. “We are here today to show our support and compassion to those who need it most,” Seyi said. “Maiduguri and Borno state have a rich history, and the people are known for their bravery. Despite the challenges they have faced in the past, we believe that this too will pass and the state will come out stronger.”

The donation includes 10,000 pieces of mosquito nets, blankets, mattresses, kettles, wrappers, buckets, mats, sanitary pads and wash kits, as well as critical supplies to cover prescriptions for almost 50,000 children and adults. The foundation aims to bring hope and relief to those who need it most, particularly in times of crisis.
