Terrorists Kill Two, Abduct Several Residents In Kastina

In a separate incident, terrorists attacked Kanon Haki village, abducting several residents and looting shops. The attackers also stole livestock from the community.

Katsina, Nigeria – A series of brazen raids by terrorists on communities in Katsina State has left at least two people dead and several others abducted.

According to reports, the attacks occurred on Sunday evening in Runka town, Safana Local Government Area, and Kanon Haki village, Faskari Local Government Area.

In Runka, two members of the Katsina Community Watch Corps, identified as Tajoddeen and Aminu, were killed by the terrorists. The victims were personnel of the local vigilante group.

In a separate incident, terrorists attacked Kanon Haki village, abducting several residents and looting shops. The attackers also stole livestock from the community.

Conflict journalist Bakastine, based in the Northwest region, broke the news on social media, calling for an end to the crisis in the region.

The Kastina State Police Command has yet to comment on the incidents. Despite repeated attempts, Public Relations Officer ASP Sadiq Aliyu was unreachable.
