One Fatality Reported After Cybertruck Fire at Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas
A tragic incident occurred Wednesday morning in the valet area of the Trump International Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, resulting in one death. According to local police, the fire erupted around 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Sammy Davis Jr. Drive.
In response to the emergency, authorities have closed Fashion Show Drive between Las Vegas Boulevard and Sammy Davis Jr. Drive to allow for police and emergency activities.
While the exact cause of the fire remains unclear, footage obtained by an Arizona Local news station indicates that fireworks may have been present inside the Cybertruck vehicle when the blaze started. Clark County firefighters quickly extinguished the flames.
Guests at the hotel and neighboring establishments reported hearing a loud explosion, which they noted was significantly louder than the fireworks from the previous night. Those staying at the hotel described being confined to the lobby during the incident but have since been relocated outdoors.
Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo took to social media platform X, stating that he is coordinating with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to ensure they have the necessary resources for their response to the situation.
