Walid al-Sousi, Head of Hamas’s General Security Apparatus in Southern Gaza, Killed by Israeli Defence Forces (IDF)
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of Walid al-Sousi, a senior Hamas commander, during an airstrike in Gaza on Friday night. Al-Sousi, who headed Hamas’s General Security Apparatus in the Southern Gaza Strip, played a crucial role in managing intelligence operations and suppressing opposition to the Hamas regime.
The targeted strike was carried out by Israel Air Force jets in coordination with the Israeli Military Intelligence Directorate.
Ongoing Raids in Rafah: Dozens of Terrorists Killed
In parallel operations, IDF forces, including Paratrooper Brigade combat teams, conducted raids on multiple targets in southern Gaza. These raids resulted in the deaths of dozens of terrorists and the destruction of key terrorist infrastructure.
In the Rafah area, Nahal Brigade troops successfully eliminated several terrorists and uncovered hidden weapons in residential houses. Additionally, IDF aircraft targeted and neutralized terrorists who were spotted spying on soldiers, posing an imminent threat to the forces.
