Governor Fubara Commits to Enhancing Rivers State Workforce Capacity, Says Special Adviser

In a recent update from the social media handle of Mr. Boniface Onyedi, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, it has been revealed that the Governor is dedicated to improving the capacity of the state’s workforce.

Following a closed-door meeting with the Governor at Government House on Thursday, Dr. Mrs. Christiana Atako, the National President of the Nigeria Institute of Management, spoke to reporters, expressing excitement about the Governor’s leadership style and his commitment to motivating the workforce.

Dr. Atako, leading a delegation from the Institute, highlighted the Governor’s enthusiasm for enhancing workforce capacity, affirming their partnership to achieve this goal, which they believe will foster a successful management system.

“We are interested in the civil service of the state,” Dr. Atako emphasized. “If you have the right workforce, you will be able to have a successful system, and leadership will be easy.”

Additionally, Dr. Atako informed Governor Fubara about the upcoming National Conference of the Institute, scheduled to be held in Port Harcourt later this year.

Commending Governor Fubara’s accomplishments in infrastructure and human welfare, Dr. Atako praised his peaceful disposition, indicating the Institute’s admiration for his leadership.
