Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Trading Human Parts In Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has apprehended a suspect, Nuhu Ezra, for allegedly trading human parts in Abuja.

According to the police, Ezra was arrested on July 9, 2024, at approximately 9:00 p.m. by operatives from the Iddo police division. He was found in possession of a human skull and bones, which he intended to sell for N600,000.

The police public relations officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the arrest and urged residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities.

The Commissioner of Police, FCT, Benneth Igweh, has ordered a thorough investigation into the matter to determine the source of the human parts, the intended buyer, and how long Ezra has been involved in the alleged business.

The suspect is currently in police custody and will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.

This development has shocked residents of Abuja, who have expressed concern over the increasing cases of criminal activity in the city. However, the police have assured the public of their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all residents.
