#OndoDecides2024: APC Secures Landslide Victory, Wins All 18 LGAs

The APC’s comprehensive victory across all LGAs underlines the strong support base for Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the state, cementing the party’s dominance in Ondo State politics.

Akure, Nigeria – The All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, have claimed a decisive victory in the 2024 Ondo State governorship election, sweeping all 18 Local Government Areas (LGAs) with significant margins over their closest competitor, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Ajayi Agboola.

The results, officially announced at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Akure, were overseen by the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Oluwatoyin Babalola.

The election, which took place on Saturday, November 16, 2024, witnessed a high voter turnout and saw APC dominating across all LGAs.
