The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to inaugurate its Governorship Election National Campaign Councils for Edo and Ondo states on Thursday, June 27, 2024.
According to a statement signed by National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba, the inauguration will take place at the NEC Hall, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja at 2 pm prompt.
The move is aimed at ensuring victory for the party in the upcoming governorship elections in both states, scheduled for September 21st and November 16, 2024, respectively.
Asue Ighodalo and Ajayi Agboola have emerged as the PDP candidates for Edo and Ondo states, respectively, after winning their respective primaries earlier this year.
All leaders, critical stakeholders, and members of the Edo and Ondo State Governorship Election National Campaign Councils are expected to attend the inauguration.
