Wike Declares to Run for Second Term

Governor Nyesom Wike has just declared his intention to run for a second term as governor of Rivers state.

This was made known via a Facebook post by Oraye St Franklyn, Senior Special Assistant to the governor on New Media today.

This is coming as some members of the APC in Rivers state struggle come to terms with the recent adoption of Oil mugul and CEO of Sahara Energy, Mr Tonye Dele-Cole by Rotimi Amaechi to replace Wike in the government house in 2019.
