Russia – The Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) in Russia has announced the availability of 420 fully funded scholarships for international students in the 2025 academic year. The scholarships are divided into 300 slots for master’s degree candidates and 120 for those pursuing PhD studies.
These scholarships provide comprehensive financial assistance, covering all tuition fees and offering generous living stipends. This initiative is designed to relieve students from the financial burdens often associated with higher education, making it an appealing opportunity for those seeking to advance their studies.
As part of the scholarship package, Skoltech will fully fund tuition fees, and students will also receive a monthly stipend—40,000 rubles for master’s students and 75,000 rubles for PhD candidates. In addition to this, scholarship recipients will be provided with medical insurance and a one-time airfare allowance to cover their travel to and from Russia.
One of the key advantages of this program is that applicants are not required to submit standardized test scores, such as the IELTS, GRE, or SAT, making it accessible to a wider range of students.
