Vatican Confirms Pope Francis’s Passing: Stroke, Heart Failure Cited
Vatican City – Pope Francis, the 88-year-old leader of the Catholic Church, passed away Monday morning, the Vatican announced. His death, confirmed by the Vatican’s Directorate of Health and Hygiene, stemmed from a debilitating stroke, subsequently leading to a coma and irreversible heart failure.
