Popular Actor Shot Dead In Los Angeles

Johnny Wactor, a long-time veteran actor of the TV show General Hospital, was tragically shot dead in Los Angeles. The 37-year-old actor was killed on Saturday during a robbery that went terribly wrong.

Wactor reportedly mistook masked thieves stealing his car for tow truck drivers and intervened, which led to the fatal shooting, according to Daily Mail. The incident occurred around 3:25 am as Wactor was leaving his side job at a rooftop bar with a female colleague in the area of West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street.

Believing his car was being towed, Wactor approached the three masked men, prompting one of them to open fire. The Los Angeles Police Department stated that the suspects fled in a separate vehicle after the shooting.

Paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after and transported Wactor to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The masked suspects are still at large and have yet to be identified or described.
