Auto Clash Claims Life of Enugu Rangers Striker, Ifeanyi George

Enugu Rangers football player, Ifeanyi George, was Sunday morning confirmed dead in an auto clash en route Lagos from Enugu state.

Ifeanyi was said to be travelling with two of his colleagues, both survived the clash and are now receiving treatments at a hospital, when their vehicle clashed into an export container body of a trailer. While the other two victims are recuperating at the hospital, Ifeanyi George was confirmed dead at the site of the clash.

The players were said to be returning home after the club announced a coronavirus break in line with recent government stands to mitigate the virus spread.

Graphic pictures of the site of clash are on the social media and fans are sending condolence messages to the family.
