Veteran NTA News Broadcaster, Aisha Bello is Dead

One of Nigeria’s most prolific news broadcasters and a national TV star, Aisha Bello Mustapha is dead, her family has announced. She passed on the December 10, 2023.

She was the former General Manager of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Parliament and a prominent journalist who left indelible imprints in news and broadcasting sector in Nigeria.

The family stated in a statement conveying the news of her demise, “Innalilahi wa inna Alaihin Rajiun. May Allah forgive our Mother Hajia Aishat Bello Mustapha. Mama, indeed, you are a very kind-hearted person. We will miss you and hope you are enjoying Rahma.”

The Funeral Prayer is scheduled to take place at the central mosque in Abuja at 1 pm on Monday, 11th December 2023. May her soul rest in peace.

Aisha Bello’s Career in Broadcast Journalism

Aisha Bello started her broadcasting journey by acquiring a degree in mass communication and media studies from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Kano before venturing to kickstart a career in journalism at NTA.

Her death has been received with mixed reactions from thousands of her fans on the social media.
