American business mogul and owner of X formerly Twitter, has mocked Meta the parent company of Facebook and Instagram following an ongoing downtime experienced on its Meta servers.

Facebook and Instagram are currently down following a glitch in their servers.

Musk tweeted a picture of four penguins, identical to the characters of the ones in the Cartoon movie, Madagascar on his X handle.

One of the penguins with the label X seemed to be questioning the other three which had the labels Facebook, Instagram and Threads – Three of Meta’s biggest social media platforms – on.

Facebook users are affected by the issue and have complained the inability to log into their accounts after being abruptly logged out by the platform.

It is unclear when the issue will be resolved as Meta is yet to make an official statement in the issue.
