Ex-Convict Killed In Front Of Father's House In Ogun

Tragedy struck in Abule Oke, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, as a 28-year-old ex-convict, Adeniji Ibrahim, was killed in front of his father’s house in the early hours of Wednesday.

According to Vanguard, Ibrahim’s father, Adeniji Kamorudeen, reported the incident at Imasayi Police Division, stating that a group of people accused his son of stealing and subsequently killed him.

Kamorudeen revealed that his son had recently returned from prison for a similar offense and admitted that he did not suspect anyone in connection with the case.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident and stated that the command is investigating and has launched a manhunt for the assailants.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to apprehend those responsible for the killing.
