Mama G shares her encounter with God, exposing her religious life and her relationships with other men of God

Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor, popularly known as Mama G, has attributed the incessant deaths among Nollywood actors to carelessness and negligence on their part.

Neglecting Health for Career

Mama G stated that actors often prioritize their careers over their health, neglecting to take care of themselves. “When you’re doing something you enjoy, you wouldn’t bother to take care of your health. Once there’s life in you, you keep doing what you’re doing, and it’s something that pays back on your body,” she said.

Importance of Regular Check-Ups

The actress advised her colleagues to learn from her experience and prioritize their health by going for regular check-ups. “We’re trying to put smiles on people’s faces while forgetting to take care of our health. I don’t know how many people are thinking like myself. That’s why I blamed it on carelessness,” she added.

Emotional Moment at Mr. Ibu’s Burial

Mama G recalled breaking down in tears at the funeral of late actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, when she realized he was gone forever. “At that moment, I broke down in tears. It’s not because I was expecting him to respond, but it was when I realized that this man is gone forever,” she said.

Mama G’s Encounter with God

The actress, now an Evangelist, shared her encounter with God in 2016, which transformed her life. “God asked me to separate myself so that He could talk to me. I thought somebody was talking to me, but I discovered it was a voice coming from somewhere,” she narrated.

From Actress to Evangelist

Mama G revealed how her encounter with God led her to become an Evangelist. “After the encounter, other pastors and evangelists started inviting me to their programmes. That’s how I became an evangelist,” she said.
