The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Ajiboye Omodewu, has passed away. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, but it is reported that he had been battling an illness.

Omodewu’s death occurred in the United States of America, where he was receiving medical attention. He previously served as the Commissioner for Lands and Housing in Oyo State and took on the role of APC Chairman in the state in 2021.

His passing comes just a month after the death of Prince Olaide Akinremi, a member of the House of Representatives for Ibadan North Federal Constituency. The loss of Omodewu marks a significant moment for the APC in Oyo State as they mourn the loss of their leader.
