Trump Revokes Joe Biden’s Security Clearance, Citing National Security Concerns and Alleged Memory Issues
WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald Trump has revoked former President Joe Biden’s security clearance, cutting off his access to classified intelligence briefings.
Announcing the decision in a Truth Social post on Friday, Trump wrote:
“There is no need for Biden to continue receiving access to classified information. Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s security clearance and stopping his daily intelligence briefings.”
Trump justified the move by citing a precedent set in 2021 when Biden’s administration barred Trump from receiving similar briefings. He also referenced Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report, which raised concerns about Biden’s memory.
“The Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from ‘poor memory’ and, even in his ‘prime,’ could not be trusted with sensitive information,” Trump wrote.

Ending his post with a signature phrase, Trump declared: “JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
The decision is expected to spark political debate, with critics arguing it is politically motivated, while supporters see it as a necessary national security measure.
