Uniting Icons: Dangote Hosts Burna Boy and Cecil Hammond for a Memorable Iftar Celebration

Billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote recently hosted renowned musician Burna Boy and music executive Cecil Hammond for an Iftar dinner at his residence during the holy month of Ramadan. A viral video from the event showcases Burna Boy, who was stylishly attired in a navy blue two-piece suit and durag, as he warmly interacted with Dangote and other esteemed guests.

Cecil Hammond, the CEO of Flytime Promotions and a prominent figure in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, took to Instagram to share a photo from the gathering, captioning it, “Bringing the legends together, one smile at a time,” indicating his role in orchestrating the meet-up.

This gathering follows another notable event from the previous week, where billionaire Femi Otedola brought together Burna, Hammond, and fellow artist Wizkid. Otedola expressed that it was a “true privilege” to share the moment with such influential figures in the Afrobeats genre.

Burna Boy, celebrated as one of Nigeria’s leading musicians, first rose to prominence with his hit song “Like to Party” in 2013 and went on to win a Grammy Award in 2021 for his album “Twice As Tall.”
