WWE superstar John Cena has officially announced his retirement from the wrestling promotion after a 22-year career.
Cena made the announcement during the Money in the Bank event on Saturday, revealing that he will embark on a farewell tour before his final match at WrestleMania in Las Vegas in 2025.
The 16-time world champion, known for his signature catchphrase “You can’t see me,” addressed the audience at the Scotiabank Arena, expressing gratitude towards WWE and reflecting on his illustrious career.
Cena’s farewell tour will include participation in next year’s Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania.
He invited his competitors to make the most of his remaining time in the ring, stating that his retirement marks an opportunity for others to make history.
