Relebogile Mabotja Named Entrepreneur Finalist For The 2020 Business Engage Gender Mainstreaming Awards

Media personality and businesswoman, Relebogile Mabotja, has been named as a Gauteng regional finalist in the Entrepreneur category for “Positive Role Model” for her company Lebotja Media for the 8th annual Business Engage Gender Mainstreaming Awards.

The Business Engage Gender Mainstreaming Awards seek to encourage the achievement of more meaningful representation of women in the mainstream of business. Finalists in the Positive Role Model individual category were selected based on how authentic they are as a role model for others as the category recognises those who know the responsibility that comes with being a role model for others.

“To receive recognition as an entrepreneur in such a tough industry where female representation is still lacking is humbling, especially because it speaks to my agenda of female empowerment. The business work I do is all behind the scenes and it means a lot for an organisation like Business Engage to have taken notice,” shares Relebogile Mabotja.

Relebogile Mabotja adds: “To be recognised across multiple industries is mind-blowing. I started out in the industry as a teenage actress, singer and stage performer with aspirations to entertain and touch lives and I’m honoured to have been able to do so in various capacities.”
