The Labour Party presidential candidate in the last elections, Mr. Peter Obi has flown to Abidjan, the capital of Côte d’Ivoire to support the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles, ahead of their quarterfinals match against Angola.
This development was made public by Obi’s aide, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo on his handle on the microblogging platform, X.
“Just arrived in Côte d’Ivoire with HE @PeterObi to support our soaring Super Eagles to victory in the quarterfinals of APCON 2023. Quite a pleasant lunch at Sofitel Abidjan.” Mr. Ozigbo posted.
“Let’s rally behind our team, knowing their strength and unity on the field mirror our spirit and passion as a nation. Together, we soar higher!” Ozigbo added.
The Nigerian national team, The Super Eagles will be playing against its Angolan counterpart in the quarterfinals in the AFCON 2023 tournament on Thursday.
Pastor Odukoya Prays for Super Eagles Ahead of AFCON Match Against Angola
Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya has released a video praying for the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of their Quarter-final match against Angola.
Odukoya did same in all previous Nigerian matches in the competition.
