A suspect, Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo who was arrested in connection with the disappearance of two friends, Celine Ndudim and Afiba Tandoh, in the case of suspected organ harvesting in Aba, Abia state, has been reportedly killed while being transported by the police to Abuja.
The development was made public by activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who first brought the case to limelight weeks ago.
Two ladies, Celine and her Ghanaian friend, Afiba, were declared missing after travelling from Port Harcourt, in Rivers State to Aba, in Abia State on April 27, 2024, to see Ochekwo, a man they had met on Facebook.
In a post shared on his verified Instagram page, Gwamnishu said the suspect had tried to flee in his car before he was shot dead. He further explained that the police authority gave the sad news and also showed him a picture of his corpse.
“The @blacksheepgroup ANDREW AMECHI Ochenkwo has been k!lled and I have confirmed it. The police told me he was k!lled while trying to escape.
What you should be doing now is to tag the police authority to come public and tell the world what happened. Possibly show his dead body.

the Disappearance of Two Friends in Aba: Andrew Amaechi Ochekwo, Allegedly shot dead while trying to escape From Police
Ochekwo had previously refused to open up to the police on the whereabouts of the missing girls before he was being transported to Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria for further interrogations.
According to Gwamnishu, Ochekwo was said to have been shot dead by security operatives while trying to escape in his car while he was being transported to Abuja.
Gwamnishu’s recount events leading to the suspect’s sudden demise left many loopholes in the story raising suspicions amongst netizens.
Reacting to the news on Gwamnishu’s page, netizens queried the veracity of his claims, pointing out that Ochekwo couldn’t have been fleeing the police in his car as he should have been transported in handcuffs and in a police vehicle.
Some users on the microblogging platform X alleged that Mr. Ochekwo was also wanted for crimes in the United Kingdom.
