EFCC Declares Total Grace Oil and Gas Executive Chairman Bolaji Akinduro Wanted for Alleged Fraud
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) announced on Saturday that it has declared Bolaji Akinduro, the Executive Chairman of Total Grace Oil and Gas Investment Limited, wanted on charges of fraud. This information was shared through a statement on the anti-graft agency’s official X.com account.
According to the statement, Akinduro is accused of obtaining funds through false pretenses and committing theft by conversion. The EFCC’s announcement highlighted that Akinduro, aged 51, is originally from Ondo State, with his last known residence listed as 272, Patience Coker Street, Ajose Adeogun, Victoria Island, Lagos State.
The agency invited the public to assist in locating Akinduro, urging anyone with relevant information about his whereabouts to contact the commission at any of its offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja. They can also reach the EFCC via the phone number 08093322644, or through email at [email protected], or by visiting the nearest police station or other security agencies.
It is worth noting that Akinduro, along with his company, His Grace Integrated Solutions Limited, and two additional defendants, was previously arraigned by the EFCC in April 2001. The charges at that time included forgery, theft, and conspiracy, presented before Justice Funmilayo Akinlade at the Lagos High Court in Ikeja.
