This wage increase has been implemented as part of the state government’s efforts to support workers during challenging economic times.

Speaking at a state function, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized the government’s commitment to providing financial relief to citizens and ensuring that no one is left behind. He reiterated that the wage allowance has been in effect since January, providing much-needed support to workers grappling with rising living costs and economic uncertainties.

The governor highlighted the importance of transparency in communicating government initiatives, underscoring the need for citizens to be aware of the measures implemented to support them.
